RW Simons Ltd PVCu Trickle Vents range is called Framevent and is the latest addition to our extensive range of window ventilators.
Ideal for both timber and PVCu, the Framevent has been specifically developed for the volume market.
Manufactured in the highest quality, U.V. stabilised PVCu, it reflects the growing market trend towards softer lines.
Durable, easy to fit and fully tested, the Framevent represents the new generation of trickle vent window fittings.
Equivalent Air Rates of up to 2328 EA and 3180 EA to assist compliance with Approved Document “F” 2021 for England.

Our Trickle Vents have been tested to BS 13141-1:2004 – Equivialent Area figures as required by approved document “F” 2010.

Independently acoustically tested in accordance with BS EN20140-10:1992, ISO 140-10:1991
Rout out the frame with the correct slot size and configuration for the model to be fitted.
Place trickle vent centrally over the slots. Fix the unit in place using the screws provided.
If fixing the vents to aluminium window frames, use the screw hole centre details shown opposite to drill pilot holes, then screw to frame as above.
Once the unit is screwed in place simply press the end caps in place on each end of the trickle vent.
