Glazed-in Acoustic Ventilators
The Simon 19000 Acoustic and Carrier Bar Option are supplied to give you the glazed-in solution for your ventilation requirements.
The Simon 19000 Acoustic is a thermally broken glazed-in ventilator that incorporates all the features of the standard Airstrip 19000 and achieves a sound reduction of up to 44dB open.
The Carrier Bar can be used as a mount for any of the face fixed Simon ventilators. This provides the solution when through the frame installation is not possible.

- Standard colours: White (RAL 9910 HIPCA satin), Black (RAL 9005 matt), Brown (RAL 8019 matt) and Grey (RAL 7016 matt)
- Special colours and dual colours available
- Glass height reduction of 64mm (Please check with system supplier)
- Suitable for 28mm and 32mm double glazed units
- Permanent, knob, rod and cord operation available
- Integral internal upward deflector
Simon Carrier Bar
- Thermally broken
- Standard colours: White (RAL 9910 HIPCA satin), Black (RAL 9005 matt), Brown (RAL 8019 matt) and Grey (RAL 7016 matt)
- Special colours and dual colours available
- Glass height reduction of 64mm (Please check with system supplier)
- Suitable for 20mm, 24mm, 28mm and 32mm double glazed units
The RW Simon Ltd acoustic vent range has been designed to allow products to be installed to any window system, with an aluminium external canopy to allow the units to be dual coloured to match any current RAL colour.
Our Acoustic range was designed with Building regulations which cover the UK and Ireland.
Independent test results for our vents are available on request.
Simon 19000 Acoustic
- Tested to BS EN 20140-10:1992 for sound insulation
- Achieves 44dB noise reduction when closed
- Achieves 30dB noise reduction when open
- Watertightness limit of 600 pa
- 8,847mm² EA per metre
- Tested in accordance with BS EN 1026:2016 & BS EN 1027:2016
