The newly opened CAHMS unit was the first project undertaken for Interserve and the unusual blade configuration allowed for shading to the glazed areas whilst providing a stunning look for the new unit.
R W Simon worked with the main contractor to co-ordinate the two at stage programme first fixing the thermally isolated brackets returning to install the stylish cubic blades once the cladding had been completed.
Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CFT) will run the brand new £11m Sowenna Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) unit, which will accommodate boys and girls up to the age of 18 at the Bodmin Hospital site.
The new 14 bed unit means that soon children and adolescents will have access to specialist mental health beds in the Duchy.
