Apartment Blocks get major facelift.
Date: 05/01/11R.W.Simon Limited have recently supplied it’s thermally broken acoustic Airstrip 19000 “glazed-in” ventilator to two apartment blocks refurbished for The Gateshead Housing Company by the local environmental services (LES).
Almost 1000 ventilators have been specified by The Gateshead Housing Company to ensure the occupants in the 167 apartments were given the products that fully comply with recently amended part “F” 2010 regulations. As well as providing a great acoustic performance.
The Simon Airstrip 19000 provides 5000mm Sq. of Equivalent air at only 565mm, which is the recommended amount fresh air required for refurbishment projects.
The two apartment blocks are situated adjacent to a very busy dual carriageway on one elevation whilst the A1M motorway is close to the others.
