Following a successful tender process, R.W.Simon the Devon based window ventilator and window accessory supplier has commenced supply of the Simon AIRSTRIP19000 to Southampton City Council DSO (City Thermoglaze).



The Thermally Broken AIRSTRIP 19000 Ventilator will now be supplied for a 5-year period.

The partnership between Southampton City Thermoglaze and R.W.Simon has been strengthend by both parties being a LAPFAG member and approved supplier.

The “High –Airflow” AIRSTRIP 19000 allowed Southampton City Council to fully comply with document “F” of the building regulations without over ventilating which can be an issue with some other high airflow ventilators.

The AIRSTRIP 19000 will give 8000mm of free air from a ventilator a small as 421mm but to ensure that dwellings are not perceived as “draughty” the AIRSTRIP 19000 is restricted to ensure a consistent and more ambient free flow of air.
